Food was amazing *****. Beautiful pool and great rooms. I loved the dining area upstairs. Very welcoming family, Anna speaks very good English.

The property is a little separated from the bulk of village which does makes it very peaceful but isolating for a solo traveller

This is a gem of a hotel, Anne and Manchu are great hosts and very kind and welcoming. I stayed here for two weeks and can't find fault in any of the amazing breakfasts or dinners I ate here- the food with the amazing views from the verandah made a very memorable stay. The rooms are kept clean and are large and spacious, I had a pool view and the pool was kept spotlessly clean during my stay. The vegetable curries were very tasty and really generous portions. Also, one of the best veggie Kottus I have had! The location on top of the hill is lovely if you are happy to be a little walk away from the main Talalla village. It took 15-20 minutes to walk there via the beach (maybe a little longer to walk back as you have to walk up very steep steps) but it's also easy to get a tuk tuk or bus along the road. I asked for a tuk tuk to be ordered on my departure to take me to the station, but I got driven by the owners! They really looked after me during my stay and gave me a lovely departure gift of a personalised tote bag. If you want chilled out bliss on the south coast, this is your spot!

The property is as beautiful as it is shown in the pictures, very well maintained and clean. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. They welcomed us with a drink, got us settled up with the rooms and sorted out anything that we had an issue with immediately. The star of the stay was their breakfast platters, just lipsmacking Sri Lankan authentic food served by the host itself. The hosts helped to arrange transport and two wheeler rentals during our stay, all in all a great place to stay and unwind.

Only minor inconvenience was the A/c although it functioned really well, maybe due to the weather it wasn't compatible during the day, but worked fine at nights

The views are spectacular. Rooms large and beds comfortable. Hot water and wi Fi good. The curry and rice which we ordered by lunchtime for dinner each day was fantastic. Breakfasts very good. Family are delightful, kind and helpful. Place spotlessly clean. Recommend the king sea view double and triple rooms in the downstairs building.

For us the access was a real problem. This hotel is for the able bodied. We are fit healthy septuagenarians and we struggled with access to the beach in fact three of us found it impossible. We had to use the busy road to reach the beach. A ten minute walk. Or order a tuk tuk. And also to the pool which is up a very steep slope. If you can handle the access we thoroughly recommend this place.

Breakfast was excellent and tasty . Great Hospitality and facilities were top notch. The swimming pool was amazing.

What a great place! Amazing helpful, kind people running the hotel, which has great facilities. Short and very scenic walk to the beach makes it ideal location. The room was big, with everything you need, and the hotel also has a great restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend, especially with the value!

we loved talalla leisure! the pool was amazing, the views from the room and restaurant are insane and you can see talalla beach which is stunning. so much greenery and perfect for a chill as it’s nice and quiet with no street noise. the staff are so friendly and accommodate to your needs. lovely little family run business and we can’t thank the owners enough for the perfect stay after our backpacking trip. they even made us personalised tote bags which was a perfect touch and shows that they really appreciate their guests, loved it💗
