Beach Front Bahia

Wir hatten ein 4-Bett Zimmer (Nummer 7) im 1. Stock. Mit schöner Sitzgelegenheit, Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine. Für 2 Personen mehr als genug Platz. Das Frühstück ist superlecker, mehr und besseres Obst haben wir auf der ganzen Reise nicht erhalten. Auch das Abendessen war ganz ausgezeichnet. Tolle Fischgerichte. Das Personal ist super! Sehr freundlich, auch noch spät am Abend nach einem langen Arbeitstag. Ich konnte mir jeden Tag frisch aufgeschäumte Milch für den Kaffee im Zimmer holen (kostenlos). Ein sehr relaxter Ort mit einer guten Aura. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt . Wer einen ordentlichen Hotelablauf sucht, ist hier allerdings nicht richtig aufgehoben.

Es gibt zu wenig Sitzgelegenheiten am Strand. Es fehlen Schattenplätze. Die Gartenabfälle sollten auch nicht direkt neben den Stühlen am Strand liegen.

De kamer. Het leek net een grot. Er zat 1 raam in maar t gordijn moest je dicht houden want de gang zat er langs.

Ein paradiesischer Ort, Appartement mit direktem Blick auf Palmen und Meer, schönes Frühstücken und gute Küche. Klare Empfehlung.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Hotel ist direkt am Strand. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, frisches Obst und aus 6 verschiedenen Optionen konnte man auswählen. Wir haben auch jeden Abend dort gegessen und waren sehr zufrieden. Pure vida 😍

The staff were very friendly. The restaurant food was delicious and the location was right on the beach.

The property is more like a restaurant/bar with rooms rather than hotel with restaurant. Unfortunately our room was the apartment with terrace which directly connected to the kitchen and we could hear the staff chopping food, opening and closing doors and sending out orders. As food service is 7.30am-10pm, we could hear the staff from 6.30am til about 11pm at night. Our room was on the ground floor and the terrace we had directly linked to the road and the restaurant in front, and so did not feel safe to leave things out to dry (although may have been fine). They played music from 8am-11pm which again we could hear in our room. We also had a lot of ants in the room (some are to be expected as we had visited other areas in Costa Rica) but they were innumerable as well as some cockroaches. It was not a peaceful or relaxing experience and we felt quite let down compared to the reviews. Perhaps it was our room. We explained we wanted to checkout early (after 1 night) and we did leave, the staff were apologetic and offered a different room however we didn’t want to stay there anymore. They said they would keep in contact in case they booked out the room and could give us a refund, but we had no contact from them which is really disappointing but we were desperate to go somewhere quieter and cleaner.
