Hotel Obergfell

The friendliness of Andreas and Carmen, the owners, was top. They were very concerned with my well-being and always have the time for a happy chat or some advice. The private parking straight in front of the hotel is not bordering the street as the hotel is tucked away in a quaint and narrow side alley that opens up just in front of its location I was upgraded to a room with a balcony and garden views which turned out smaller than expected (more a single than a double room, but the bed was big and the room super clean! The Japanese-style little garden with relaxing water features is part of the terrace adjoining the hotel and is very cozy. The place to be to unwind after a far drive. Up the garden hill there are benches to enjoy the view, relax with a cooling drink or write about your day. The breakfast is absolutely gorgeous and plentiful

I would have loved to have a 2-person eiderdown, but that is not available. Maybe mosquito netting in front of the window so it can remain open all night. However the plus points far outreach any of the two "missing" things mentioned above.

I highly recommend it! Great place, very clean and decent size rooms. The owners are simply wonderful people. I hot ill during my stay in the hotel and they were great help. The owner even helped me to get my motorbike back on the trailer. Very nice breakfast and wonderful view on the mountains! I highly recomend.

No weak points for me. All excellent!

That we didn’t stay longer!

We loved our stay at the Hotel Obergfell. The hosts, Carmen and Andreas, put so much heart into their establishment. We had a charming stay in the beautiful Black Forest.

The owners, the atmosphere, the breakfast, the friendliness, the facility so beautiful, the garden,... Everything!!! I very recommend! It's the best! Best value for money!
