Alma Calma Hotel Rural

Exceptional in every way. We stayed in the Tindaya room which felt incredibly private and calm, with its own outdoor seating and hammock space for stargazing, lounging, reading a book, etc. We took advantage of the gorgeous views and sunshine on the pool deck to enjoy a vista of the sea, mountains, and desert. The hosts are kind and helpful, and have crafted a truly unique boutique experience. The breakfast is gorgeous with many homemade items, prepared fresh to order including a vibrant juice and beautifully prepared breads. Honestly we couldn't have asked for anything more. It's clear that a great deal of care has gone into this little slice of minimalist luxury, from the comfort of the rooms (large showers, wonderful bed, amazing little soaps and details) to the warm welcome upon arrival. I wouldn't hesitate to return and highly recommend the Alma Calma to anyone visiting Fuerteventura.

Peaceful location, amazing views. Tranquil. Hosts were so helpful and invested in us having a great time, sharing lots of tips. The breakfasts were divine, lots of homemade produce. Felt like we’d been welcomed into someone’s home rather than a “hotel”.

With only 4 rooms we and our fellow travellers were welcomed as house guests. Laura gave us a wonderful breakfast each morning: fruits, eggs , cheese, ham and homemade bread and cakes every day. Laura gave us suggestions of places to go and restaurant recommendations each day , and encouraged us to message if we needed anything at any time. Twice a week Laura and Massimiliano cook for their guests and we enjoyed a relaxed feast together. The view is stunning and the area so quiet that it was difficult not to absorb the Calma. We hope to return!

The quietness, the cute details, the amazing home made breakfast and the friendly hosts always willing to help and share best tips for the island. We went with our small dog and they made sure he was one visitor more!

The magic of Alma Calma has taken us from the very first moment. A oasis of beautiful nature, peaceful and quiet! Laura's special personal nature made us feel home and relaxing at once. Thank you so much for the great time Laura and what a pity that we did not meet Massimiliano. Next time...;-)

Is there something missing in paradise...???

Everything was perfect for us! The place, location, energy, food…… My husband and I really connected to the energy of the place. Like a paradise in earth, and everything made with so much love….I already miss it and want to come back! Thank you Laura and Maxi for creating a place like that…..we are greatful that you had us this time… Arrivedecci!

Everything was excellent. Both Laura and Maximiliano are excellent hosts with great attention to detail, it was like staying with family! Special mention to the home-made breakfasts and dinners. The hotel is beautiful mixing tradition with modern elements. It was simply the perfect stay. There is no better option to stay in Fuerteventura than Alma Calma!

We spent 10 nights in Tindaya, Alma Calma, with Laura and Massimiliano and what can we say? It was fantastic! They run the small hotel with so much love and dedication and it was incredibly relaxing and cosy. Away from the well-known mass tourism on Fuerteventura, this is a wonderful place to spend a holiday. Equipped with an off-road hire car, you can explore the many remote and beautiful beaches and spots as well as all the sights of the island. The same applies to extensive road bike tours and runs. Dear Laura, dear Massimilliano, you are two wonderful people and have created a little paradise for yourselves - stay the way you are! All the best for you and we will be very, very happy to come back!

A magical place, a small hotel with a wonderful view of the garden and the mountains. silence, peace, comfort. We definitely recommend spending a few beautiful days here while traveling in Fuerteventura. Owners Laura and Maxi will fulfill your every wish.
