Hotel Schönwies

Very friendly and comfy. Good starting place for a day in the Dolomites. There’s also a really nice 1.5 hour loop trail you can do direct from the hotel that takes you on a gorgeous hike overlooking Adige valley. Have a beer in the lively hotel bar afterwords.

Vackert beläget i bergen! Åt middag på hotellet då jag valde till halv-pension. Gott och smidigt. Fint hotell med stort rum och balkong. Trevliga ägare!

The staff was open and friendly about the local culture, food and surroundings.

The hotel is centrally located in a national park but distant from the purpose of our trip. The hotel made this ok in the end.

Heidi from reception was very nice and adviced us with some hiking routes. Nice breakfast. We also ate dinner in the hotel restaurant - there were two vegetarians options and especally risotto was very good. We were quite early but we were allowed to log in and go to room before official log in time.

Parking lot was crowded during lunch time and It was extremely difficult to get out car there. We were also a bit afraid of leaving our car there.
