Boutique Hotel Reschen

Tolle Lage. Sehr schöne Ausstattung.

Sehr gutes Frühstück. Alles war sehr sauber oder neu. Kleiner Garten mit Liegen. Kurzer Weg zum See bzw. Restaurants. Freundliches Personal.

Zimmer für den Preis zu klein. Zudem hatten wir ein Zimmer mit Dachschräge und sehr kleinem Fenster. Kleiner Tisch und Wasserkocher / Espressomaschine fehlen.

The room was pretty and the location is very good, just a 10-minute walk from Lake Starnberg. Check-in was smooth and the receptionist was kind :-) There are also a few nice places to have dinner just around the corner, which was very convenient.

A few things could be improved. There was no air conditioning and only a tower fan, which didn’t make the night very comfortable during the hot weather. Also, the shower water pressure was REALLY low :-( Breakfast was included in the room price, but €15 per person felt a bit overpriced: we had to choose a time slot at check-in, and when we arrived there were no pastries (croissants or cake) and the only sweet option offered was brioche bread with jam– which was tasty, but rather limited for the price. We didn’t feel like having cereals or savory options, which were available but not what we were looking for. We also slightly overstayed our time slot (by about 5 minutes) and felt like we were disturbing the staff, even though the breakfast room was empty at the time. Overall, it was a pleasant stay thanks to the location and the welcoming staff at the reception, but with a few adjustments it could really live up to the boutique hotel expectations.
