The photos on the website/internet is not what you get. No fireplace as advertised, which is why we booked the room. The staff was amazing, accommodating. The owner, sadly, not at all. There wasn’t a hair dryer. Wine glasses would have been nice in the room. We have stayed in many boutique hotels and this is definitely not one, never mind 4 stars.

"Not what we paid for…"

Not a lot - we ended up checking out and finding another property in Tulbach to stay.

The room we booked on the fotos was not what the room looked like today. The fireplace has been removed etc. but fotos never updated. Very limited dinner menu and even worse (and expensive) wine list, yet you are not allowed to bring your own wine. Unfriendly and clueless staff. Think carefully before you book this place.
