Quiet location, super friendly host (and team) and excellent food against a good price!

In this range we didn’t find anything to improve. Only thing might the the size. With around sixty rooms it can become quite busy.

"Nice hotel a bit away from the center of Tuk Tuk"

The spacious room and comfortabel bed ( we stayed on the ground floor of the new building). The food in the restaurant is nice and the people are friendly. The view from our terrace.

The amount of stairs from the room to the restaurant. Far from the center of Tuk Tuk. Lots of insects enter the room easily (but the room was clean and free from insects when we entered the room).

The cottage's view of the lake is superb! The location is a little bit outside Tuktuk which means you can enjoy a quiet stay. We stayed there in march, out of season, so the complex felt empty which gave the impression you have the place for yourself

The mattress of the bed is up to replacement as was the linen.

The lake view room was nice overlooking Lake Toba.

We had booked three lake view rooms. However due to the steep steps down to them - our grandma wasn’t able to make it down to the room safely as it was raining and the steps were slippery. So they relocated her to a different room closer to reception - it was smaller and had no balcony. However when we asked if we could be moved to a family room so we would be located together - they said we had already used the room (since we had moved our bags in) and would have to pay more. When another staff member tried to explain why we couldn’t move he told us to just get our 83 year old grandma to try walk down if we really wanted to be in the better room. And didn’t offer any alternatives. One of our lake view rooms also didn’t have any towels, soap or hot water. Overall customer service was disappointing and fairly rude. It’s a shame since the hotel has some nice points but is let down by the staff members.
