At this point on our month-long travels in India we needed a little more comfort and Clover Inn definitely delivered on this front. Excellent, western style hotel in an extremely quiet neighbourhood (after a month in India you come to appreciate just how important that is), comfy beds, great facilities, extremely sweet and polite staff. Most importantly - unlimited supply of scalding hot water in the shower no matter what time of day or night - bliss. The owners Jyoti and Shishu and their daughter Minal looked after us like we were part of the family. They bent over backwards and were incredibly sweet and helpful with arranging lifts, itineraries and any little thing we needed or asked about. The home cooked food was also excellent and very reasonably priced. We loved staying here, we felt valued and cared for and can't but recommend the place.

This is not strictly a negative point and by no means it was any problem for us as we are vegetarians but please be aware that this is a place run by Jain family and therefore eggs and meat are not on the menu. The location is a little away from the town but that is a trade off that more than pays for itself by how quiet it is, The family took us (free of charge) in their car to riksha hang outs and arranged the price for us anytime we wanted, so no problem with getting anywhere whatsoever.
