Please note that Hotel Isole di Brissago is only reachable via boat from Porto Ronco or Locarno. The last boat to the island leaves around 17:00. The bus 316 is connecting the Locarno Train Station with Porto Ronco. A boat jetty is available for guests arriving with a private boat. Please note that it is not possible to access the island with a car. A deposit may be required at the property.

Very unique stay that’s peaceful and beautiful

It was my wife’s birthday and I asked the receptionist to make the stay a bit special. Either by flowers, or at least candles for dinner or breakfast. I didn’t get any of that and she didn’t even talk about it later on… The last boat leaves Porto Ronco at around 2. But in the Hotel’s Booking description they mentioned it leaves at around 5pm.

Fantastic experience! The hotel personal was very friendly, excellent restaurant, nice atmosphere and impressive botanical garden.

There was a smell from the drain, which disappeared after the usage of the shower.
