Tainaron Blue Retreat

An amazing, dreamy place that stands like an oasis of peace and serenity amidst the rugged and harsh terrain of Mani. Even more impressive than the structure itself and the breathtaking view was the treatment we received by the staff who did everything to make us feel like royalty.

A great stay in a friendly and welcoming hotel. The whole team were superb, very attentive and yet very discreet.

Big crush for Kostas’s place - as beautiful as on the pictures - even more once you are in front of the unique sea view - we stayed 3 nights and I think one more would have been the perfect time to plenty enjoy Tainaron blue’s spot. We slept in the tour - A very unique experience which is part of the place’s charm - you have the feeling to sleep in a lighthouse - but with all the expected comfort you are looking for during holidays - if you are very very tall, it might be a bit narrow - with my husband we are both tall (1m85 and 1m75) and it was fine - anyway there are three other rooms where to stay ! Kostas and his team are doing everything to make you feel good and they think about all small, but important, details that make your stay special. And the food... no words how all the starters, mains and desserts were delicious - everything is home made and all receipes are refined. ( I am gluten free and they kindly found alternatives for me ) What we loved about this place is how peaceful it is - it was our first time in Greece and we started with the discover of Vathia’s area - best decision. It is still very preserved, several beautiful not busy coves - you feel very lucky to be part of the few to discover the landscapes and enjoy the sea. Tainaron blue’s hotel is the kind of spot you would like to keep for you !

Multiple cleanings and change of towels a day. Exceptional food and incredible views. Really nice pool and great staff.

A beautifully restored Mani tower. Only 4 rooms so intimate. Kostas the owner was a very knowledgeable and welcoming host. The food was excellent…. 5 course breakfast and an extensive evening menu, cooked to order…. Perfection! The views are totally amazing. Kostas is a perfectionist and this place is perfection.

We loved everything at TAINARON Blue. Wonderful staff, beautiful food including the best breakfast all severed on beautiful crockery and cutlery. Kosta’s attention to detail was perfect. I would recommend Taineron to anyone looking for an unique experience. We felt truely pampered..thank you Kostas and his team. I should also mention the view, just beautiful.

Every single experience we had at Tainaron Blue was unique. From the 1st minute you enter the facilities you get to feel the true meaning of hospitality by Mr Kostas (the owner) who is taking care of you and has paid attention to every single detail of your stay. The room was very cozy, minimalistic and nicely decorated with super comfortable beds and linen. Our best time of the day was when we had to eat. Both breakfast and dinner (both days), were served with such care from the all staff and Mr Kostas himself explaining every dish and giving you the full experience. All dishes were just mesmerizing, we just wanted to taste everything (a great reason to visit again!) I can keep on talking but I am sure you get the idea. Tainaron Blue is one of best experiences I had so far and is located in one of the most beautiful places in Greece, Mani! Worth every single euro you pay!

I cannot think of anything negative about the hotel / personnel / food / rooms. Everything was beyond expectations!
