Dear Hotel California Management Team, I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience I recently had with your property. Over the last three years, I have been a loyal guest at Hotel California, staying approximately 9 to 10 times. Until now, my experiences have been consistently positive, with a high standard of service and hospitality that encouraged me to return. However, my latest visit was marked by several issues that were both unexpected and disappointing. Before arriving, I called the hotel two hours in advance to confirm my booking and was assured that a room was available. However, upon arrival around 5:00 PM, I was informed that couples are not allowed to stay, which came as a complete surprise. This policy was neither mentioned during my phone call nor at the time of booking, leaving me unprepared and without options. I believe this information could have been easily communicated during our phone conversation, saving me the trouble and inconvenience of arriving only to be turned away. Instead of being accommodated at Hotel California, the staff suggested I stay at your affiliated property, Hotel Hollywood Heights. Upon arrival at Hollywood Heights, I found the conditions far below the standards I have come to expect from Hotel California. The room quality was extremely poor, with various issues that made my stay uncomfortable and unsatisfactory. Additionally, I was charged a higher rate than originally agreed upon at Hotel California, despite being relocated to a property with significantly lower standards. I trust that you will take this matter seriously and address these issues to prevent future guests from experiencing similar difficulties. As a long-time guest who has valued your services, I hope to see improvements in communication, policies, and service standards.

Price - value for money, especially if you're in town for few hours waiting for your flight Staff - very helpful

Location - a bit far from airport but if you plan your time, should be ok
