Hotel BR Grand -Near Golden Temple

Probably the only thing positive about the property is that it looks really good in the photos online.

‘You cannot judge a book by its cover’ fits this hotel perfectly since the hotel looks just amazing in the photos which made me book this hotel for my trip to the beautiful city of Amritsar all the way from US. I was not pleasantly surprised when I arrived outside the hotel. It looked like tindler swindler situation you think this is the real hotel but it’s actually a hotel in the middle of a trash dump. Nevertheless due to the ongoing construction and my inability to find any parking spot since the hotel doesn’t have one, I ventured to the front desk where we proceeded to pay for the stay upfront as requested. After spending 15 minutes in the room, I was walking back to the front desk asking for refund and cancellation of my stay due to the below mentioned issues in the hotel rooms: 1. There is no toilet paper. If you ask for one, they give u a dubious half roll of a toilet paper every other day. 2. There is no ‘safety locker’ in the room. I inquired about it and they said they will put one, which never happened. 3. Their shower area leaks water into the main bathroom flooding it every-time you shower. 4. Only 2 extremely old towels were provided, and they didn’t like replacing them often. 5. The cabinets in the room look like they were installed yesterday and majority of the cabinets had no handles. 6. The room was extremely small, there is hardly any walking area in the room 7. The rooms are not soundproofed so beware of staying here over the weekend when the main revenue source of BR Grand, it’s 5th floor party starts you can hear loud music at 85 decibels inside your bedroom until 1am. 8. The dreaded hallway lights would often be off , making for an extremely uncomfortable walk to your room if you are coming back late at night.

Location is really Good ,Staffs are very prompt and co-operative. Neat and clean. One more thing They need to gv atleast 2ltr Complimentary water bottle to room.

Water Bottle highly chargeable and less complimentary water bottle. A broken shower handle in Bathroom. we expect room would be little bigger (as mentioned 280 sqft approx) executive room.
