Holiday Inn Express Auckland City Centre by IHG

Good central location, walking distance to most things in CBD, amazing rooftop bar with great views (pricey drinks though!). Staff were also very helpful and gave us a late checkout which was great.

Parking can be a hassle

Great location. Tidy and clean.

Parking. Do not have parking building so you have to park in a car park building and it’s crazy expensive.

Clean,staff were fantastic

Everything was very good with the hotel side of things, breakfast was very good also. Check in and out was easy.

There was confusion re parking from the start of the booking. We had to park in the car park next door and wait for our room to be ready , yes we were a little bit early arriving. Anyway we ended up being charged for 2 hours at $20.00 an hour by the Carpark company Wilson's. 12.00 to 2.00pm Then charged another $59 dollar overnight by the Hotel for parking 2.00pm until 10.00am. But we went in at 5.00pm & was out at 8.30am. The girl on the desk argued with me about this and was not very helpful or understanding.
