The staff was very friendly and helpful. If we needed anything, they were eager to help. Their attitude was very friendly. The location is great, right in the center of the city. There are plenty of food options around the hotel. Everything else you need is very close to the hotel. Many attractions at the walking distance, and taxis are available all the time. The room was clean, and they provided everything needed right away. You can have it cleaned if you like during your stay. I initially booked for 2 days reading at reviews but added 3 more days after living there. Looks like everyone smokes in Iraq so if you need a nonsmoking room , request to have one.

As this is in the center of the city , little noisy but that is expected at such locations. Same breakfast every day . I wish there were some changes in the menu. Wifi was kinda slow for laptop use. People were smoking everywhere which is little annoying for someone non smoker.

It's a very atmospheric local hotel with historical furniture and a nice view from the balcony. The staff is very helpful, can change money at a good rate, also good location next to Liberation square and not far from Muntabi street. The breakfast was included (without meat, but not bad). Despite of it's old I would stay again.

The only big problem was the bathroom - the shower was broken with a problem of water flow, sometimes no water in the bathroom but for 1-2 nights it's ok.
