Hotel L'Escapade

L'hôtel était parfait, on a apprécié notre séjour. la chambre était confortable. Malgré les orages violents et la coupure de courant, les propriétaires ont su prendre soin de leurs clients. Félicitations à eux. Je vous conseille le restaurant, on y mange très bien.

Les orages très violents mais ça les propriétaires ne sont pas responsables. Une pensée toute particulière pour les sinistrés du village qui on dut subir des pertes suite aux inondations. Courage à eux

A good location for a stopover from England to Germany. The staff was lovely, the breakfast nice and the room was functional. Balatre is a very quiet little village.

Unfortunately during the week there is nothing open in the village, so we had to drive a bit to get something to eat.

I was disappointed to find out. the restaurant would be closed the evening of my visit. Having sent a booking for a table, I didn’t get a response to say it was closed. There’s nothing around locally so I had to go without. I was also very disappointed with the mattress, very lumpy and tired.
