Villa Sveti Dimitar

The check-in was super smooth and easy. The room was a bit dated but clean where it counts. Everything was very cute, and they provided everything that we needed for our stay. There is a small common area between the upstairs rooms with a refrigerator, a coffee machine, and a sandwich press! Plates, glasses, coffee mugs, and silverware were in our room, as well as a kettle. The location is great! It is very close to the main village of Borovets, but secluded and private enough so you are not in the middle of all the craziness.

It is not the fault of the guesthouse, but it smelled a lot of cigarettes and sewer. I have noticed all across Bulgaria that people do not respect the no smoking signs. The sewer smell is everywhere, and due to poor infrastructure. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and could use an updating. As well as a bot more thorough cleaning. We fond a lot of dust and cobwebs around the room. Also, the beginning of the driveway was poorly maintained/not plowed, so it was difficult getting in and out, especially due to the angle and how it's positioned in relation to the close intersection.

Everything was great, hosts were very kind and there for everything you might need. Very clean rooms, there was free parking in front of the house, which is very convenient. Not very far from the gondola, 10 min walk.

Brak śniadań to pewien minus. Jest kuchnia turystyczna i stoły ale wyposażenie kuchni bardzo skromne i fajnie byłoby gdyby gospodarze dodali trochę naczyń kuchennych, sztućców.
