Beautiful setting, great food and service

The bed was good in our second room. Also there was space in it to move around. The staff who dealt with us were great. Unfortunately, the manager did not bother to speak to us when we were not happy with the room we were allocated.

We booked a double room for 2 nights. However, there was minimal room to move around the 4 foot 6 bed. There was nowhere other than 4 hooks for our belongings and nowhere for cases. We paid the extra £80 for a proper double room.

Nice room for dogs although being at the top was not ideal for us but wouldn’t put us off staying again. Lovely idyllic location staff were very helpful and our evening meal was very enjoyable.

Shower was broken but we didn’t realise until the morning so it was too late to repair before our departure
