Very friendly and helpful staff. Good atmosphere in a historic place. Managed a full house well. Convenient location for our activities,

Quite a bit of road noise and limited bathroom facilities upstairs.

The bar downstairs was great with roaring fire and good food. The shared bathroom was clean.

No window and we were told not to go out onto the balcony because a car had crashed into the hotel recently and the balconies were unstable. The room was cold (no heater) and there was no remote for the television so we were told there was no way the tv could be switched on despite being advertised as available.

This place is very well equipped for a country pub. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Meals were excellent. Service was prompt. Lovely open fireplaces. All staff - hotel, bar, kitchen, were extremely helpful and friendly

It’s a country pub clean and comfortable, don’t expect luxury ie shared bathrooms etc

Great pub atmosphere on a Friday night with the locals . Great food

Room 12 should not be rented out . It has no outside windows and 2 doors - very noisy with light coming in the window in one door (no curtains)

Great food. Great to have an ale 🍺 with the locals.
