Friendly staff and good breakfast. Right on the Francigena pilgrim trail.

Lack of window in the room. The frosted door is the only natural light source and you can't leave it open it for security reasons. Aircon was ancient and inefficient. Had a seedy motel vibe.

The Manager was extremely helpful. Advice for restaurants, told me about Garlasco and helped me to arrange accommodation at the next town I’m staying at

On the Via Francigena walk

This was a surprise and good location. The rooms were basic, small but clean. I had one of the two outside rooms which was good and larger upstairs. A good sized secure car park which was crucial for us as we had expensive bikes in our Van. Would stay here again

Simply put, 1) my room was clean and nice tough a little smaller than others in which I stayed; 2) wi-fi was free and perfectly working; 3) the restaurant doesn't offer a lot of choices but the food was good; 4) the breakfast is fine, above all if you like eating cakes in the morning; 5) the hotel is managed by a family whose members are all kind and helpful. 6) there is a private park (ask to the reception to get the gate opened); 7)the location is close to the center of Garlasco, in case you would like to eat somewhere else or go for a walk. The building is rather old but I stayed in much older hotels. In my opinion, if the hotel is good, who cares about the age of the building or of the style of the interior? Written that I wonder what was wrong with the guy spending one month in this hotel. If I don't like a hotel, I search for another one the same right day!

We stayed here for one night. The room was very clean and met our needs for one night. The dinner was very good and generous. The owner was very helpful. The atmosphere was very friendly and we enjoyed ourselves. Close to all amenities.

A pleasant enough lodging set back from the main road but easily accessible. The room was a bit small, but very clean. Good shower in the ensuite, helpful owner and good breakfast. Happy to stay there again.
