AUIt was right next to the historical side of Troy. Which is the main benefit. Do not look for anything flashy or fancy. There is nothing around and it’s just a very simple motel But I think for what you pay it’s very reasonable and very fair. Plus the owners are very nice people.
Toilet door did not close. You feel a bit pressured to eat in their restaurant because you’re staying there. However, there is one or two restaurants close by that look a little better.

GBThis is a fairly basic hotel in a fantastic location. The décor is not much to write home about, but it's clean and the bathroom works. I'd highly recommend staying here during your visit to Troy: it's right opposite the museum and just a 2-minute drive to the site entrance. The owners are super welcoming and helpful (and speak fluent English). There's a decent restaurant (the grilled fish was great), a shop selling all kinds of snacks and drinks, and even two ATMs. More convenient than many 4* establishments. It's a beautiful place to sit out in the evening when the site is closed, it's quiet, and you can enjoy the view over the countryside. A good way to experience the landscape of Troy.
As long as you don;t expect 3* facilities, you'll be happy here.

No teamaking facilities in room and the bathroom in our room needs an upgrade..the wiring to the light switch looked a bit close to the shower spray and the place needs a bit more sprucing up..to be fair they had been doing so .eg fresh paint and new mattresses..

There was no water running in the bathroom. The rooms are very old and need repair. No value for money at all.
