Hotel Waldersee

The location is very good - you can reach it quickly from the main railway station with a tram. Even though it is in a very central part of the city, it is super quiet as it is next to a forest. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very delicious!

unbelievably cool ... here everything is still as it used to be ... very friendly staff ... the furniture is original from the carpet over the bed and only the sitting area ... wow ... great selection of drinks with self service and fair prices .. original Lounge in the living room style of the 70s .. but with the newest it - equipment ... very very good Wi-Fi in the rooms ... great mattress ... and the bathroom ... there are no such tiles today ... everything was very clean ... Room 26 is very quiet ... I did not use the swimming pool and sauna ... but looks good ... Now for breakfast ... also as in the swing time ... not everything was there. .. but everything fresh and delicious ... Thanks for a great "back to the future" stay ... I'll be back for sure when I'm in Hannover ..

3 years that we're so far going to the Waldersee Hotel! The atmosphere is like being home, rooms are clean and there is a great clubhouse with open bar downstairs! Indoor pool and sauna ! The position is very good to! Highly recommended

We basically registered to the hotel for the Hannover mese. It turned out to be a great place to stay, so we prolonged the stay there for participation in the Hannover marathon festival. We did not regret that decision. The only downside is the rather expensive rate during the message. Great location. Great staff. Surprisingly excellent facilities.

I work frequently in Hannover. Because of the many Congresses held in the city, finding a room can be difficult. This past week, when my regular choices - the Sheraton Pelikan and Novotel - were booked, I recalled walking past what looked like a very charming hotel right on the forest that runs in the center of town: the Waldersee. Making a booking was easy - through Booking.com - and no problem with a latish arrival even though the desk is not manned twenty four hours a day. My room - a double - was comfortable with particularly nice pillows. The free wifi worked without difficult. Breakfast - for only Eu5 - was delicious with a large variety of foods to choose from. My only criticism would be that the rooms were not well insulated in terms of sound and I couldn't close the curtains to block out the morning light but this was easily solved with eye patches and earplugs ...

Hotel Waldersee is a great 'bed and breakfast' palce. Though small, the place has a very old world charm to it. It is located in one of the most peaceful area of Hannover and overlooks the 'city forest'. Hence an excllent location for joggers and even if you want to explore the green hub of Hannover. It is run by the Weibking family who personally manage the place and are really helpful. It offers great value for money as it includes breakfast and free high speed wifi internet. It is at a walkable distance form the tram station. It has a sauna and an indoor swimming pool as well. Rooms are small and serve the very basic purpose. They do not have a restauant or a bar hence on ehas to go out or order a delivery.The drawback is that it is at a distance from the train station. All in all a great value for money place!
