Vantage hills Haputale

The location and the view are the highlights of this hotel. Gamini and the other staff members are very attentive and helpful, assisting with luggage. We stayed in one of the new rooms downstairs. It was a large room with a balcony, but without heating. Dinner and breakfast were very good. Guests could choose between a Sri Lankan and an American breakfast.

The new rooms are nice, but the descent from the lobby is very long. There is no elevator! During our stay, the room was too cold. The road leading to the hotel is very steep and narrow.

This small hotel is located within the town area and has an outstanding outlook over the surrounding area The staff are friendly and attentive Gamini in particular helped out with local knowledge and arranged transport The restaurant area is modern and clean and has a great view The food was excellent with great Sri Lankan dishes and Western options

Very good breakfast with beautiful views. Hotel is located just at the tea plantation. Great and very helpful staff.

We had a very lovely time in Haputale. The accommodation met our expectations. Everything was clean, and the hosts were very helpful. The breakfast and dinner were very delicious. We would gladly come back anytime.

Very modern hotel with stunning views that change every day. Nice walks/hikes near by. Haputale is a nice little town - coming here instead of Ella was one of our best decisions. Food was very good, especially the Sri Lankan breakfast which changes a bit every morning. After getting this awful concept of „English Breakfast“ again and again this was a nice change. Garnini was a warm and welcoming host with a lot of helpful advice. He arranged a trip to Lipton‘s Seat with a nice driver for us. Also the transport to our next location.

The rooms aren’t really soundproof. You might hear the neighbors or - as we did - a water pump or something. Was not to bad though. Also the Wifi in our room was very weak, but we didn’t really need that.

Hôtel avec vue magnifique sur les champs de thé. Chambre spacieuse et bien agencée. Personnel très attentionné, bon petit déjeuner.

Précautions d' accès à connaître ( ruelle très pentue) mais solution en appellant l' accueil.

Great stay in Haputale. Ideal location for beautiful hikes, coupled with a wonderful host and delicious breakfast. Definitely recommend.
