Motel 6 Waco - Lacy Lakeview

It was very clean and new in the room. Bed was excellent. The Maid service was very good. Lots of parking and very quite but also only 5 minutes to downtown Waco.

Checked in got to room not given a WiFi password. Call front desk no answer. Went down office locked and no one around. Bed blanket has cigarette burn on it should be a no smoking room

I thought this place was fantastic! The staff were great, when I arrived the attendant was in the back, but you could tell he made an overt effort to get to the desk. Every person I encountered here was very friendly, and actually willing to help (I couldn't figure out the WiFi, and the clerk went out of his way to walk me through it). This place is an older model building, which for my taste was perfectly fine. I'm not a fan of Motel 6's "tortilla chip" bathtubs and this one had a full size tub. That goes a long way with me. The room was very clean, bed was comfy, and everything worked well. I was very pleased with this location because typically this price range, I take the room with a grain of salt, but no margaritas needed today! Parking lot is a little difficult to reach and needs work, but makes it not easily accessible for sketchy people either. There is not a lot of surrounding stores, a Family Dollar and a few food places, but it is close to bigger shopping areas. I know it has gotten some poor reviews, but I really don't understand why other than it is old and carries those issues. I would recommend for a quiet, good night's rest, but if you want 5 star accommodations and features, stay at a 5 star hotel.

i paid 47$ for one night here. The place is very weird and unsafe. It smells bad. There are cockroachs on my bed. This seem to be an isolated place in the area. I couldnt sleep at night. The is place scare me out . Stay in the room and turn on the light. I feel like i walk in an abbandoned hotel. I rather pay double price for the next trip at another location.

Ok so I'm leaving dallas sick thinking I. Can make it home past AUstin nope decided to stay somewhere inexpensive HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!! This place was horrible the room was 90 degress the ac did my want to kick on and cockroaches and ants galore I was so tired I tried to fall asleep but could not got up and left!! Homeless sleeping outside this is not safe for any one!!! No I didn't ask for the money back. The only nice thing is the man at the front desk. Yes I was to tired to complain I think he knew I was pissed when I burned rubber to get the hell out @2 am. I hate giving bad review but this one really deserves a zero but I gave it one star for the man behind the desk! You'll never see me anywhere around this place ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plus...Loved the wood floors, contemporary newer design furniture complete with large dorm size refrigerator and new mattress. Appears to be make over of an older motel. A great value at $48/ night. Minus... parts of motel had dingy looking exterior (I guess they are still remodeling) and entrance from south through alley was weird.

I was stuck in the back corner room. I arrived by myself and that pretty scary. The parking lot was not well lit. The room had no hot water. The A/C leaked water all into the floor which was located right next to the microwave and the fridge. I slipped more than a couple of times in the water. I had no towels to use for a shower because they were used to soak up all the water mess from the A/C. I discussed this with the front desk when I checked out and he barely muttered a legible "sorry."

I stayed at this motel 6 on April 23, 24, and 25th of 2016. At first arrival we noticed water running off the roof and draining into the lower rooms. We stayed on the other side of motel from the water. Our view was a body shop and an auto repair shop. The first night the A/C unit smelled or urine so I shut it off just to get some sleep. I asked that they change out the ac unit which they did and it smelled better in the room the next night. By morning it smelled again of urine so I assume it was the mattress or walls, I am not sure. I would not recommend this motel due to how run down and unclean it is. The maintenance seems very lax here. Manager seems very helpful but that is the only good thing I can say about this motel. Sorry

We needed pet friendly and was disappointed the only hotels in the Waco area that were are 2 star rated. We were very nervous about the quality of a $46/night hotel. We couldn't have been much happier! Super easy on/off interstate; pet friendly; extremely clean, modern rooms!! Highly recommend!! Super cold A/C

It looks as if they are trying to make the room look better, but the beds are not the most comfortable and are full size rather than queen. My son who is 6' had his feet hanging off the bed. The wifi is an additional charge. We choose this because I knew we were getting in late and we would be up early, so I hated to pay a lot for 5 hours of use. It was the case, you get what you pay for.
