Arthaya Villas - SHA Extra Plus

Situated in beautiful tropical surroundings. Stayed in a two bedroom villa with large comfortable balcony/seating area. Amazing pool.

Not much storage for clothes. Large hanging cupboard with few hangers, but no chest of drawers

Off season in Koh Lanta is green and peaceful, but 90 percent of restaurants, bars etc are closed for 4-6 months.

The staff was wonderful, they were so lovely and kind. We loved our stay. The pool was very nice and the villas were really comfortable.

The only downside is that there is only airconditioning in the bedroom. The rest of the villa does have a fan.

Superb accomodations, full kitchen, incl. gas stove, microvave, large fridge, everything youd need. Nice living room. Spacious and well decorated. Correct AC location in bedroom. Perfect pool. Great staff.

Beautiful setting, friendly courteous staff, comfortable bed. We will be back, and next time for an even longer stay!

This property is located in a quieter part of Koh Lanta, with the beach and restaurants within a short walking distance. The facilities are excellent, with a lovely gardened pool area and a coffee shop on site. The stay are very welcoming and friendly, thus making your stay as perfect as possible.

Arthaya Villas is an amazing little hotel. The grounds are beautifully landscaped; an oasis right on a busy street. The pool is beautiful, though it gets full sun all day, so the temp isn’t exactly refreshing. The Villas are spacious and the bed was super comfortable. There’s a small kitchenette, but beyond reheating or doing something like pasta, I couldn’t really see cooking there. But there’s no need to cook anyway! If you don’t have a car or motorbike, or don’t enjoy walking, you may feel a little limited in your nearby dining options. But I highly recommend that you try Yang Garden Cafe. It’s only a few minutes away, walking, is beautiful, and was one of the best meals we’ve had in Thailand. Cosi restaurant is a little further north, and also excellent. Breakfast wasn’t included for us, but the on-site cafe has excellent food and we ate breakfast there every day. We rented motorbikes on-site for part of our stay, which I highly recommend so that you can explore the island. If you don’t, and this is your only stay on Koh Lanta, you’ll miss out on fully experiencing the island. Ya helped us with our transportation going from Lanta to our next stop, which saved us time and money. Probably the thing that we appreciated most about Arthaya Villas is their dedication to being environmentally responsible. In a country where there is so much single-use plastic (creating litter everywhere) and a general disregard for recycling, conserving, etc., this hotel gets gold stars. Ya, the owner, provides recycling facilities, uses refillable glass water bottles (rather that all-too-common plastic that the majority of hotels use), and the fact they capture solar power to provide almost all of the power to the hotel is beyond impressive. Other hotels have a lot to learn from Ya and her team. Thanks for everything, Ya! You have an amazing place!

If hanging out in the beach is your thing, this might not be the hotel for you. While there is pretty nice beach about a 20 mini walk, it isn’t your typical “tourist” beach. There is one cool little beach bar, but it’s not the “sitting on a lounger drinking cocktails “ kind of beach. We had just spent 4 nights at a beach front property, so for us, it was fine.
