Gamma Hotel

The location is good, but, due to the direct proximity of a central railway line, it's better to have a room with windows NOT facing the railway. The staff were extremely kind and responsive. The breakfast was fine, but also with a touch of that old USSR style I hate.

The price for the so called deluxe room was way too high because what you get is a pure Soviet style room (with carpets on the floor where you can feel terribly uneven floor underneath, dark brown, very large, but and totally useless shelf unit, uncomfortable and old armchairs, a writing-table that, according to me, missed some book by Lenin or Marx on it :-D, and ugly wallpaper. When booking, we had no information that there would be a party there, with loud children running along the hotel passages till late night. Had we known that, we would not have stayed there.
