Absolutely loved my stay here right near south downs national park. Staff are so friendly definitely made me feel welcome and I will be staying here again ☺️

I booked to stay here last minute after my travel plans were disrupted. The accommodation was in a beautiful converted barn in a garden across the road from the pub, and and the room was perfectly presented, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. I had dinner in the pub itself and sitting in the secluded flowery courtyard in the summer heat was wonderful. The food was delicious and excellent value for money. The staff were helpful and friendly and if the dinner was anything to go by, I was sad I had to leave before breakfast and miss it! I was kindly given some yoghurt, granola and fruit to take to my room instead. Would absolutely stay here again.

The pictures didn’t do it justice. We stayed here for a local wedding and it was lovely, I emailed ahead of time and the staff let us check in early which was very appreciated. Room was gorgeous, exceeded expectations, breakfast was as expected from a little pub but good enough! Would stay here again.

Lovely quiet room and absolutely spotless. Breakfast great. Had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious and good value. The staff are amazing and really friendly so all in all a fantastic stay and will be returning.

Lovely one night stay in a converted barn across the road from the pub/restaurant. Comfy bed and very clean room. Nice towels and toiletries. Lovely tray with good selection of teas, coffees and biscuits.
