ESESUSEverything about hotel Garelos was perfect. Where to start!? Iced tea, ice water and a wide selection of coffees free and on tap. A wonderful continental breakfast buffet to die for. The ladies that run the front desk are amazing - wonderful, professional and helpful. The ac worked and we could control the temperature ourselves!! It's also very well located for walking into the main plaza. We enjoyed Betanzos as a base to visit other places in Galicia - it's a fun town with character. Just to say off you are using a car there is ample parking just south of the hotel in a public car park - if you are lucky you can sometimes find spaces close to the hotel. The hotel does have parking underground for a few fee but it was a bit tight for me to negotiate with the Kia niro that I had and so I decided not to use it. A wonderful hotel and look forward to coming back - you will have an great time here
