Very beautiful ambiance, good vibes. Breakfast was spetacular!

Breakfast

The "hotel" (which is not an hotel) lacks accessibility and has very poor illumination. When you access the front gate, there's a step with no light which is a hazard. The place in general has too many steps with poor illumination, very uncomfortable for people arriving with suitcases and/or bag. The absolute WORSE is the very narrow spiral staircase to access the room, very uncomfortable and dangerous. The layout of the structure is very confusing, there are no indications of the rooms, kitchen, lobby, bathrooms, etc. The first thing you see when you enter the property is a bathroom, not the lobby. To get to the lobby, there are yet more steps and the door opens outwards with no space to stand but on the steps when you open it. Definitely not easy to do it with a suitcase or bags. The room I stayed in had no TV, the floor was so dirty I couldn't even walk barefoot. The bathroom doesn't have a sink, you need to use the kitchenette sink to wash your teeth. There's no TV. There are tons of windows with no blackout curtains, so forget to sleep in past dawn. The structure description says there's free parking, but the "hotel" has no parking. Check in is at 3PM but after 4 PM there's no one to check you in, you have to do it yourself. If you arrive past dusk (like I did), good luck finding your room. I went up one of the spiral staircase with a suitcase and 3 big bags just to fin out I was at the wrong room. There are no communal facilities, except the exterior areas (small and uncomfortable because of the heat). The structure doesn't offer basic stuff like ice. They are applying for a legalization, I wonder how they'll ever get it. The only very good thing about my stay was the breakfast, which even if had only 2 vegan options available, was delicious (I'm not a vegan, but I enjoy a well prepared vegan dish). I won't definitely stay there again.

It’s a tropical so there are mosquitoes which is not the hotel’s fault by any means. The citronella vaporizer by the bed was a nice touch but I still was bit considerably. A mosquito net may be nice.

Food is amazing, all the staff are nice and prompt to help in any situation! The facilities have an amazing design and accommodations are nice.

Our apartment faced the moving bar in the backyard, which was quite loud and rowdy at times. I was surprised to find no barrier on the porch, at least something such as hanging plants, between the porch/shower area and bar. I was also freezing at night as the remote control failed to actually control the AC, which was set way too low but couldn't be adjusted.
