Santiago Cove Hotel and Restaurant

Hotel is a great location at the Cove. Room was very clean and great size however, the bathroom shower allowed for water all around on the floor as glass was not long enough. All of the staff were great. Had coffee hot cappuccino and it was great and a wonderful design. Breakfast was very nice and the staff very very helpful. I would like to mention one attendant, Pearl, she was attentive to all guests and very helpful in offering waffles that weren't shown on the buffet. a Jet ski and banana boat were available for rental. Security present and very clean outside as well as in the hotel.

Bathroom was small for me

Quietness. We were looking for a rest from travel schedule and this little oasis was perfect. Located directly across from the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was great for relaxing around. Good breakfast. Good restaurant. There is some very special who lives the hotel and his name is Frolific. He iis a cat with personality plus that just loves greeting people and in a nice way. He is also very talkative 😊. This hotel is perfect for a quiet getaway.

Staff are amazing. The quietness. Prolific the house cat. He kept us entertained daily. This was a great stay.

Breakfasts could be improved. Twice my meal arrived cold.

Beds a little hard. No in room safe. No towels at the pool

Rooms are clean. Staff are nice and friendly.

The rooms are clean but you can tell the hotel is old and the facilities need updating. There were no towels when we got to our room and had to ask for it. There’s no mini fridge to put cold drinks which is always needed in a tropical weather/climate. The shower door is difficult to slide open and close and therefore we end up not closing it through when we shower and water leaking outside of it. The staff are friendly and polite but there’s not enough during the one and only time we had dinner at their restaurant. We had ask for ice several times and was told the final time we did they ran out. There are no garbage cans anywhere in the common places. There are so many things that could be made efficient like a counter for beach towels, a sign up sheet for their water sport activities, and not having to present coupons for the included breakfast buffet. I could see the potential for this place to be a 5-star type resort if only management will invest on it. So many inefficiencies.

Some issues with the set up of the breakfast. Desire advertising asian buffet. Was not served an Asian breakfast on some morning and what was offered was not very good. Very few options
