Yay Sustainable

Wunderschöne Anlage, selten so eine liebevoll gepflegte, blühende Umgebung erlebt. Es war wirklich eine Augenweide. Auch der Fluss war toll zum Baden und das Essen war lecker. Mein Mann hatte ausserdem eine sehr gute Massage. Erholung pur!

Einzig, dass es manchmal wirklich sehr lange dauerte, bid das Essen kam, resp die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Mit Kindern zT etwas schwierig.

Terrible experience. This is one of the most expensive places in the area, and unfortunately it is absolutely not worth the price. The first day everything seemed fine, but our cabin, “Papaya”, had extreme humidity. Sleeping was very uncomfortable and we didn’t rest at all. The second day was even worse. During the night, when we went to the bathroom, we discovered the cabin was infested with cockroaches. There were at least six cockroaches on our toothbrushes. We had to throw everything away and buy new items. This problem continued throughout our entire stay — a serious and unacceptable infestation. The food was just okay, but very inconsistent depending on who was cooking. Portion sizes varied a lot. On one occasion, we ordered a fish soup and received a much smaller portion than usual, and it was full of chicken bones. Absolutely disgusting. To make matters worse, there was construction going on during our entire stay. They were building another cabin, and from 8 a.m. onward we were accompanied by the constant noise of chainsaws and construction. Extremely disrespectful for a place that claims to be peaceful and exclusive. We deeply regret paying what we paid. It is one of the most expensive places in the area, and we felt completely disrespected and scammed. In the end, the only response we received was, “I’m very sorry, bye” Without a doubt, the worst experience we have ever had in all of our travels.

Es bonito y tiene acceso directo al río. La comida e suena también. El yoga fue un gran servicio.

La habitación estaba sucia. Había cucarachas pequeñas y una araña que nos causó temor. Entendemos que el lugar está en la selva, pero no pudimos dormir del susto. También hubo ruidos de murciélagos en el techo de palma.

Una de los puntos positivos de Yay es la comida. Está muy muy muy bien. No sólo por el sabor, sino por toda la base sustenable, incluyendo a ingredientes que vienen de la huerta que tienen.

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful location and spaces (garden, pools, restaurant); devious food, great Yoga teacher (Tita); and very friendly and attentive staff. A wonderful space for relaxing and recharging.

Il soggiorno a Yay Sustainable è stato semplicemente stupendo. Capanne bellissime, immerse nella natura, e staff estremamente cordiale e attento. Il progetto di sostenibilità è autentico e ben comunicato: il luogo ispira davvero a essere più sostenibili, anche attraverso piccole rinunce vissute in modo naturale e consapevole. Nulla è imposto, tutto è coerente. Ristorante eccellente, di grande qualità e perfettamente in linea con la filosofia del posto. Un’esperienza unica, che lascia il segno.
