Breakfast, though not included in the price, was excellent, with a good spread. The decor of the breakfast room and the hotel in general was remarkable. The hotel is smack in the middle of the old city, and we had a very quiet stay, maybe also because it was during the holiday seasons and there were not many things going around the city. A short walk across a bridge and you are already in Poland, although the Polish side used to be part of the city of Goerlitz too in the past. Such remarkable history.

There was facility to make hot beverages in the room, but there was no fridge to store any cold drinks. This was alright in winter but would have been useful to have during the hot months. Nonetheless, we did enjoy our stay in Emmerich Hotel, Goerlitz.

Wirklich tolles Hotel, sehr zu empfehlen. Das Frühstück war klasse. Wir haben einen Abend auch in dem Restaurant gegessen. Das war ebenfalls hervorragend. Wir waren rundum zufrieden 😀
