Hotel Dorf Shizuoka

Close to trains .

The lack of normal bed . Uncomfortable futon on tamami matt's Lacking in facilities.

Great little hotel with a big breakfast mostly traditional Japanese food. Happy hour with sake ,Udon ,curry n rice and popcorn was included. Shuttle van to the station when we left ,was complimentary.It was clean, with bigger rooms than we expected. Lovely staff who helped us find places and comfy beds.

Cigarette smoke smell in the passage and in one of the rooms. It is out a bit from the station,but walkable.

Excellent breakfast buffet, that changed from day to day, helpful and nice personnel, nearby parking, location (some nice restaurants are in walking distance, but it's also very near to railroad crossing), dinner (1 fixed basic Japanese menu) and drinks included

Booked room as a non-smoking room, hallway was already full of cold smoke, and everything in the room smelled smoky, floor tiling looked filthy, room and floor were definitely rented to smokers for several years, needs renovation

It’s a fine ,good and wonderful property the staff is very helpful,kind and nice,the hospitality is very good,I like the drink bar and the food 👍👍🫰❤️🙏🏼

They have free dinner, beer and unli popcorn and free transpo. Staffs are very friendly even though it’s an old building, the amenities are still clean. They have a roofdeck where you can spot Mt. fuji. They are 10 min walk to Shizuoka station and the location is very nice if you want a quiet neighborhood.
