"Bait & Switch, showed renovated room photos and gave us keys to a shady lodge"

Shady lodge Booking.com listed room and the room we were given were completely different. When I asked the receptionist, his response was "It is what it is" Bathroom was extremely filthy, the toilet was broken. It was the worst room I had to stay and I only slept for few hours as it was the middle of night in a new city after traveling for 12+ hours, and I wouldn't be able to find another accommodation at the time. Morning, first thing I checked out and ran to better hotel.

The room quality was not upto the mark. Fan was not working properly. A lot of mosquito was inside the room. Washroom was not cleaned properly.

Room as well as washroom should be clean and mosquito free.
