Sand Dollar Boutique Hotel

Friendly and efficient staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Pool is fantastic. What made it even better was rooms 105 & 106 having their own poolside terrace outside the front door. Location was so peaceful, but the town of Bang Sare is only a couple of minutes away. Rooms are very generously sized - plenty of room to stretch out in, and beds are very comfortable

There were no major issues at all. Will book another stay in a few weeks when our children come to Thailand

Arrived at the hotel and received a good welcome however it went downhill from there. Hotel and reviews indicated that there was food available in the evenings however this was not the case (confirmed by staff in who indicated that this has been the case for some time) , given also that the van outside was closed by 17:30 so no food was available, I had also been told earlier I shouldn’t walk to the closest restaurant without a stick due to street dogs…. Room was not particularly clean the pool bar was closed and I was also informed that the reception would only be staffed until 19:30. Made the decision to check out at around 18:00 taking a taxi to Pattaya for that night. I indicate that I would be comfortable with paying for the first night but would expect a refund for the rest of my stay this was rejected by the management in later discussions through my travel agent. Feel very let down clearly this hotel is living on past reviews when they may have provided food in the evenings but now there seems to be no staff for evenings to provide food or open the pool bar etc. Entirely possible given their last review was in 2023

Breakfast is good!

The beds are comfy and relaxing. The owner was on hand to help us sort out the rooms and the breakfast. The staff are also very helpful. The rooms are big enough and the toilets are also big and provide enough toiletries.

The lighting around are a bit dark. The building covering of bamboo I think creates the darker ambiance and secluded space but it feels claustrophobic. The area also has a lot of stray dogs that is a security risk if going out without a car. It is also a bit pricey considering the location and the breakfast offering.

Hotel like new and quiet away from noisy areas

Every window and balcony was shadowed with a bamboo construction, so no view to the nice bush and so feeling like in a cage. Breakfast with pre order 1 of 4 choices a bit poor.

This is hotel I choose to get away from busy life. I did wake up with the sound of natures and felt more energy.
