Fair value for money. Decor could do with a touch up but it was clean. Based on what I paid I would stay here again.

Milk quantity in room not enough for the amount of brew kit.

I enjoyed my stay

The short walk to the station.

Being conned out of a holding deposit without a receipt before even seeing the room. Having to ask for a temporary heater and electric socket extension. The receptionist did not even know where the breaker trip switch was located. The Android TV needed to be reconnected to the network. This last room was too small for a double bed. All the action could be heard from the next room through a very thin panel behind a wardrobe. When the room heater did work, it made a frightful expansion drumlike noise every half hour. No alarm clock is needed. The bed board was broken; the blind was inadequate as a blackout. The ventilation was poor. The PAT codes were 2023. No bed sidelight nor bedside table. No USB socket. No sockets close to the kettle. Broken door hangers, so there are no clothes hooks. You just get the feeling that maximum income was being squeezed out of minimal input. It's just very shoddy. It feels like a hostel, not a hotel.

There was a strong smell of bleach or cleaning agents. Try to ventilate the room few minutes before check in.
