Amazing stay, everything was perfect

Traumhafter tropischer Garten, Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und liebevoll gestaltet, inklusive wilde Tierwelt ( Besuch von Brülllaffen!) wir konnten im Dorm problemlos auf das untere Bett wechseln, danke nochmals Alice! Eine Oase der Ruhe und Erholung am Rande des Dschungels. fantastische Sonnenuntergänge am See, Küche und MA sind gut, top WiFi

An 2 Tagen gab's tagsüber massiv Kettensägengeheul aus der Umgebung, hat leider die wunderbare Ruhe sehr gestört, dafür kann aber das Guesthouse nichts!

I really like the immersion of nature and wildlife of the location. The bedrooms were very comfy and well designed given the humid climates. The hostel is very accommodating and the staf really kind.

The one caveat is that you are unable to cook food, while the resturant menu is very nice, when staying on a budget it is not easy or convenient save on food.

Wunderschöner Garten, liebevoll hergerichtete und saubere Bungalows, sehr freundliches Personal, tolle Duschen, köstliches Essen, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Ein kleines Paradies

Le paradis sur terre est bien là ! Les propriétaires et le personnel sont au petit soin. L'endroit est magnifique je serai bien restée plus longtemps. Le dortoir est top avec le réveil aux bruits des singes hurleurs et des oiseaux. Le restaurant offre des plats délicieux ! Mentions spéciales pour le poulet avec sa sauce divinement bonne, la tarte aux pommes et au petit déjeuné les pancakes avec salade de fruits. J'ai passé un merveilleux séjour ! Encore merci 🙏

If you are short in time and only staying one night as I did, this may not be the most economical choice. I arrived in Flores after the last collectivo departed to El Remate (ie past 18:30) and the only taxi that would take me from the airport cost me 3 times the room I had booked (250 GTQ). My mistake not to check upfront how to get there as the collectivo was about 60 GTQ. Check your arrival times .

Great value for money. Beautiful environment, surrounded by nature and peace. Nice menu. Super cute hut to sleep in. Felt nice to be a little away from the “obvious” location of Flores Island. I would have liked to have stayed a little longer, one night wasn’t really enough.

A bird flew into our hut from the ?roof and scared us, it flapped around a while and then vanished. Similarly, there were a lot of free range animals (a dog, some chickens, a cat, a duck/goose type bird) which some may find unnerving. I actually quite liked this, but one morning the chickens literally approached us at breakfast en masse and drove my friend out of her chair as they tried to eat off our plates. Personally I found this endearing, but I guess it might scare some people. The key being attached to a key safe by chain was a little awkward. Again, I liked this element but my friend struggled with the outdoor shower and finding warm water there. I managed, and I enjoyed the novelty of an outdoor shower but just select your room choice carefully to meet your expectations. Not the properties issue, but the water level of the lake is very high and the wooden docks / platforms around the lake were virtually submerged during our visit so we couldn’t make the most of the (almost) lakeside location. A little slow to respond to queries.
