Hotel Aqua Panon

Nice place to stay while I was travelling by car. It was about 15 min away from the main motorway by car but not very easy to find. Open parking area is available. Friendly people. I really like Serbia and its people.

Well, I don't want to be harsh on my review but there was a scent from smoking everywhere. Rooms, beds, curtains etc. I guess visitors are smoking everywhere and the hotel management cannot do anything about that.

Poor customer service

Good location, enough space in the family room, nice cupboards for clothes ( in our room it was nice) , free parking, staff was very kind and helpful, they were always greeted us with kindness and lovely smile. All of them! Food is excellent! Whoever is cooking, hats off! We had breakfast every day and 4 times dinner and we never complained about the food. Menu is great for meat eaters mainly, we were happy to find Serbian style food at the hotel. Sunday’s breakfast was our favourite, we really enjoyed ( buffet- Švedski sto) , it would be good to have it every day because the breakfast menu is very poor.

They have not cleaned our room for 8days at all, only changed the bin bag. It was dust everywhere, the shower was mouldy, curtains were full of dust and not even long enough to cover the windows, very old fashioned wallpapers and curtains,dirty floor we had every day, dirty toilet and sink, sticky table , smelly old pillows, bedding was smelly from cigarette too, fridge was very dirty inside, under and behind the furnitures were a lot of dust and it is hard to sleep for the person who is got allergy for the dust. They forgot to take breakfast trays from the room sometimes and the room was smelly. We needed to remind them for clean towels for 4 people because they always gave only two. Furnitures are old and noisey, decorations are from last century, old fashioned and looks very tired and depressing the whole room-the whole building. The corridors , stairs and the hallways are dark, not really inviting. The restaurant is smelly from cigarettes. It was impossible to eat there with our children, once we had dinner there and after we needed to shower and had a good hairwash too , clothes needed to be changed as all of us were smelled from smoke. Internet is very weak, better to prepare yourself for that. It was a bit hard to walk inside in the hotel with pushchair as the floor is not flat and by every door is a bump on the floor. Doors are not automatic and if your hands are full plus kids you have, well, good luck to open or close the door! Outside is very abandoned. Leaves are everywhere and after rain is very slippery and muddy. It would be useful to have a gardener or clener for outside. Basically, the hotel would be better if the owner would put some effort to renovate and modernising it to look bright, inviting and suitable for everyone, plus hire more cleaners, enterieur designer and divade the restaurant with a wall between smokers and non smokers to be clean and family friendly environment the whole hotel.
