Sobe bi potrebovale malo prenove, postelja mi je bila preozka in zelo neudobna.

Clean room, amazing reception stuff

The room has clearly seen better days, but at least it is clean and well maintained – nothing to complain about here. The pool is similar. A big plus goes to the reception and pool staff – genuinely great people, helpful, friendly, and professional. The reception team in particular deserves recognition. And that’s where the good news ends. The restaurant is a complete disaster and a total misunderstanding. From the very beginning, the waiter was more interested in watching TV than in the guests – we were ignored as if we were interrupting him. He took our order reluctantly, as if he was doing us a favor. The food? A disaster. The beef in the pasta was so tough it was practically inedible. The gnocchi were overcooked to the point of being mush. After we complained, we received a new dish – admittedly better – but the chicken was still tough, and on top of that it was a thigh instead of a fillet, which made no sense with the sauce. At these prices, this is simply unacceptable. Highlight of the evening: we were refused a wine opener for 5 minutes. Seriously. We have never experienced anything like this before. The receptionist tried to help and clearly cared, but was unable to get through to his colleague from the restaurant. The restaurant manager gives the impression of someone completely out of touch and from another era – this is not about age, but about a lack of basic knowledge and any sense of professionalism. Our feedback was ignored, with zero reflection. Apparently everything is “fine,” despite the restaurant being empty throughout the day. And honestly? No surprise there. If nothing changes, it will remain empty. And it’s hard to blame anyone – this is the worst hotel dining experience we have ever had.
