Prezzo spropositato per l' offerta di servizi, piscina appena riscaldata, quindi utilizzabile per pochi minuti e camera da letto priva di aria condizionata ma solo di un ventilatore. la cosa peggiore è che per tenere aperta la finestra non essendoci tende la mattina alle 5 c'è già tantissima luce

The grounds are beautiful. Most of the staff were very friendly. Food in the restaurant was good.

We paid around £700 per night during one of the hottest weeks of the year. For that kind rate you expect an exceptional room with AC. Our room did not have AC and was uncomfortably hot with nothing but a couple of fans blowing hot air around. All other 5 star hotels in the area at that price point have AC. For £700 per night you also expect a room to be impeccably appointed and maintained; it should feel like you are the first to stay in it. Again here Tyme did not deliver. The bathroom was very disappointing and poorly maintained. The mattress not up to standard and the sofa uncomfortable. The staff by the pool were often rude and constantly informed us that if we left for a second then we would have to take our things with us. Despite the fact that we had a service animal with us our dog was not initially welcome at the pool or in the pool house. We could hardly leave him in our room which was 30 degrees plus. We were asked to leave the pool by 2pm on the day of check out to make way for new guests. All in all some of the staff made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I would not recommend the property to others.

The breakfast and dinner were brilliant with our requirements catered for with thought and exceptional talent. We couldn't have asked for a healthier meal with the chef utilising their extensive on site kitchen garden. The grounds are outstanding and interiors are stunning with an attention to detail that I don't think I have seen anywhere else in the UK. I would recommend as one of the best wedding venues in the UK and for anyone wanting to truly relax and wind down from a hectic life this is one of those rare hotels where you can truly switch off and find peace whether it be wandering round the extensive grounds or relaxing in the spa.

The only minor criticism would be the lack of control of underfloor heating in the ensuite in very hot weather. This was not controllable and only really a problem I would guess when high temperature outside as at any other time of the year it would be absolutely fine.

The cute pub in town is only open Fri to Sun so the Thyme restaurant is the only option. Property is gorgeous but quite remote.

Incredible time at Thyme! We got engaged during our stay and Thyme couldn't have been a better spot for a romantic proposal.
