Old furniture. The bathroom was in really bad condition. Damaged ceramic tiles, no cabin for the shower, only a little bit of warm water. The shower hose was from the washing machine! Dirty carpet, the sheets were clean, but smelled of bleach. Very old balcony's door didn't close. Horrible hotel.

Clean and economical room with a comfortable bed. Great and well functioning air conditioning along with a fridge.

The Hotel was close to the World Arm Wrestling Venue. I called the Hotel and said we will arrive after 9pm and the manager closed the hotel when i arrived just after 10pm. I did not stay here. If i was looking for a themed horror hotel this would have been perfect, but i was just looking a bed for the week as i would be at the competition/venue all week. The hotel is saying to booking.com i was a no show and it's in their terms they can keep the money i paid for the week. Booking.com are unable to get the hotel manager to refund the money. Booking.com say their hands are tied which i don't really believe and would make me very cautious to book through them again. I booked this based on their advert online. Surely i have rights when a hotel is not as described. As fate would have it the Hotel Plaza had a room left and it was a lovely hotel, as was every other hotel i saw along the beach. All the hotels i saw during the week were open late at night and had people on reception unlike this Alexandros hotel.

The paint was coming off the walls. The surrounding area was dirty. The doorbell was just 2 wires hanging out of the wall. (This didn't give me much trust to the electric wiring inside) The hotel was closed at 10pm with no one on reception. (Fire/Health and Safety) The front door was locked and the place was in darkness. There was no answer on the contact number for the hotel. In the car park there was 2 cars jacked up and wheels missing and bodywork damage. The area did not feel safe or welcoming at all. The manager closing the hotel after he knew we would not be able to get there for 9pm. The manager had asked for a cash payment instead of card probably because no one would stay in the hotel when they arrived unless they were delayed. If i can't get a refund i hope they use the money to clean up and paint the hotel. It was like a hotel from a zombie movie. If there was a fire in the middle of the night (faulty wiring) there was no one on reception and the doors were locked. The manager has shown his pedigree with his reply. I have phone records from 10:24pm that evening when we reached the Hotel. Also saying thank you for the money we gave them. It was the money he took from us after he closed the Hotel before we could arrive. I contacted booking.com that night to tell them your Hotel was closed and we had to find another Hotel. I have no idea why the manager is referencing drinking so much? Did he go to the pub? I was there for a Professional sports competition. Plus i flew in from Northern Ireland calling me a drunken Brit is strange to say the least. I did give low score and i do feel its very justified, even more so after reading the Managers comments. I did not enter the hotel because it was locked. I did not go back to the hotel for the reasons above. Loutraki was a great place to stay, in my opinion just don't stay at this Hotel. According to Booking.com he is entitled to keep or refund the money.
