Etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

The location is beautiful. The hotel is big, with lots of outdoor space. Proximity to the lake beach is fantastic. You can walk down on your bathrobe. The indoor pool is very nice. 2 saunas. Friendly reception and dining room staff, who will go the extra mile to help and accommodate you.

I really missed some comfortable seating in the room and outside. There are lots of benches and wooden chairs, but none are really comfortable. The chair in the room was quite old and worn out and not comfortable at all. Not sure if high beds are a Swedish thing, but for us, it was really too high :-) and too soft. Overall friendly cleaning staff who definitely had a lot of work considering the size of the hotel. Some days, the room was cleaner than others, definitely depending on who did it. Our room had beautiful views, but also faced the inside and outside party venue, which means that if there is a celebration going on, you will feel like you are right in the middle of it all evening, well into the night. We had a very loud, quite drunk group with music until midnight right under our balcony, followed by an after-party by the lake until the sun came up. Although we understand this sort of events must be of importance for the hotel and its finances, it was not pleasant to hear people screaming all night.
