Wright Style

Charming, clean and comfortable, with helpful friendly staff. The Frank Lloyd Wright theming gave a stylish edge. Location is good, with an excellent Italian restaurant on the premises, and several traditional establishments within a short walk. The island shuttle bus stops nearby and runs quite frequently. We enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast included was rather disappointing.

Breakfast overall was pretty good, one of the main reasons why I picked this hotel was because they were one of the few places that provided breakfast in the morning. Parking was was easy and right out in the front of the hotel. There was some cute cats around area. We saw the owners had put out cat houses for them. My sister heard a lot of meowing early in the morning but I didn't so if you aren't a deep sleeper it might be annoying. Overall location was decent, it was near 3 different restaurants and was a good halfway point between Tsutsuji-so and Honmura Port Area

The economy rooms and standard rooms were a modest size. It was a bit hard to find place for 1 medium sized luggage and 1 small sized luggage. I didn't see much differences in size between the economy and standard rooms, except that the economy room was on the first floor and next to the bathroom and front desk. The worse part was dragging our suitcases upstairs with no elevator. Thankfully they had someone help but it still a bit troublesome. Only one pillow was provided.

The restaurant was phenomenal! Loved the bar in the lounge at the hotel as well. The room was spacious and had nice amenities, the tub and shower were great. I rented a bike in town and there was plenty of bike parking. Had the best time visiting Naoshima and grateful to have stayed at this lovely hotel. The restaurant was amazing for breakfast and dinner!!

No complaints. Everything was fine. Wish my trip was longer! I booked the hotel and practiced my Japanese and was excited to check in, but they only spoke to my wife after they found out she had a Japanese phone number and address. That was a little embarrassing for me, since it caused some friction with my wife who wanted me to do all the talking and handle everything. Otherwise everyone was very nice and welcoming.

Petit établissement récent bien propre. Les chambres ne sont pas tres grandes mais pour une nuit c'est correct.

Great Location, restaurant for dinner and breakfast was convenient. Aesthetics of Frank Lloyd Wright lovely. Great communication. Staff outstanding. Wish we had stayed l longer.
