Le Erawan Phang Nga Hotel

I liked how it appears. It’s pretty to look at. It has a nice pool. It is decorated nicely. That is all.

When booking it made out like I could choose a double room or a twin - as soon as you book you have absolutely no option to cancel for a refund so you’re forced to accept what they gave you. They immediately gave us a twin so it felt like a trap and deceptive just to sell their available rooms under false pretence that you’d actually have a choice. We had no alternate option but to agree and they pushed the twin beds together for us - which is appreciated but it isn’t comfortable like a double. The rooms only have one chair when there are two people. The desk has space for two chairs so it would be better to have two. The balcony is very small so you can only stand to look out - it looks down on to other peoples balcony’s which feels intrusive. For a more luxurious 4* hotel I would have expected some English TV channels or a smart TV which it did not have. Couldn’t use the TV at all because of this. SO NOISY - we could hear people laughing and chatting outside, we could hear the people next door to us laughing and doing all of their personal business over and over again like an X rated movie which was awful and went on to well past midnight as well as anytime they pressed their light switches or used their plugs it sounds like they are in the same room as us , could hear loud music, high bass repeated over and over again continuing until 11pm. I complained to find out they were hosting a banquet upstairs - we were on floor 4, this was on floor 7!! I don’t feel these events should be held in to the late evening when the rooms aren’t sound proof at all! We had to ask to be moved to a different room after midnight because of the people next to us being noisy and disrespectful. Avoid here if you want peace and to actually sleep because I didn’t get it and it’s just not worth the risk.
