Absolutely stunning hotel in location and design. Check in was smooth and front desk staff friendly and helpful, providing a sparkling welcome drink on arrival was lovely. We had connecting rooms facing the lake and it was an incredible view to wake up to. The pool on the lake was breathtaking and a lovely area to relax in when the sun is shining, even when it was cooler weather the pool was heated and was still able to be enjoyed. The indoor pools were also nice when it rained. Breakfast was a really good selection of options and the food was tasty. Hotel staff were helpful and accommodating with any requests.

Nothing major just 2 small points that were already brought to the hotels attention - We got a big splinter in the foot immediately walking barefoot on the wooden deck by the pool. Luckily it was us and not our children otherwise I would have felt more strongly about it. A solution for the decking around the pool needs to be looked at - even if it's having waterproof slippers available there to wear for the guests to prevent injuries. - We also suggested there should be an option on the menu by the pool for kids, even something simple like fries so you don't have to leave to eat and return.

Fabulous location and lovely rooms with lots of space. Breakfast is a great selection . The lakeside bar is beautiful and the outside pool and sauna too. Staff are friendly

Outside pool and spa have limited opening hours. Like other high-star hotels here, expect to have to sit and have a drink while they take ages to check you in and give you a tour. Not so good for those who want to arrive, leave things in the room and get outside. Am being picky though

Location and facilities

Wonderful hotel, excellent restaurant with varied menu. Not too expensive, especially for the quality of food and drink. Rooms were spacious and luxurious, although no air conditioning, which I'd imagine would be an issue in height of summer?
