Very good

Great location. Clean big rooms. Perfect for a family of 5.

Property needs some renovations and some tidying up. Service was fine but not amazing. Some people were great but never a good idea to have owners behind the desk.

When we booked, we had an urgency to find a room quickly next JFK. We didn't go into details and we based our decision on reviews score, that at that time was 7.4. After we put our foot into the door, we realized that something was not going properly as we expected and started to wonder how could be possible that this place doesn't have 2.0 as average of reviews score!! The question is quickly answered: is a place mainly frequented (99%) by ultra-hortodox, a community that is trying to keep their life's standard as it was prior 1950. Nothing against, but you cannot make me pay more than 300 USD per night when you should pay me to stay in your "hotel". The room where we stayed was literally scaring at the point that we decided to not sleep at all during the night, remaining with the lights on. All the furnitures were from decades ago, the floor was making noise when walking over. The most ridiculous thing was the breakfast. The room was scaring as well, with the difference that there were other people inside.....! The breakfast (that in some other reviews is well described), was the most essential breakfast ever experienced in 25 years of travels! The worst quality food ever seen. I just had 2 pieces of white bread as nothing was inspiring to be eaten. But, when you can say that there is no limit to the bottom, I saw the owner that together with another man, were publishing on the walls two disclaimers: "No food can be taken out from the breakfast room. No exceptions". Ahahah come on, seriously?! Who is going to take away that kind of "food"?? By the way, we left as soon as we could, early in the morning, and once out, we realized that we were in the middle of the ultra-hortodox district. This was the only positive experience, as we really appreciated to have a tour around and discover the surface of this community .... that probably helped this hotel in getting that kind of awkward score!

It was great. Couldn't expect better

The front desk was helpful on arrival. The route to the breakfast area was awful, we thought we were entering a dungeon. Breakfast was good room was awful front desk helped with the microwave etc.

No air conditioning. No parking. No fridge or microwave. Not worth the price they are charging for the room. Bed sheets weren't clean. Beds are very hard and uncomfortable. Very small tv. No wifi.

The breakfast was ok, within the limitations imposed by the Kosher requirements. The location was perfect for us, since the reason we were there was to be with a relative who was undergoing surgery at Maimonides Medical Center, and we only went to the hotel to sleep, have breakfast, and return to the hospital. The bathrooms were very clean and the showers (we stayed in two different rooms) were great! The most wonderful thing about this property is THE STAFF!!!! They are simply OUTSTANDING!!! Cordial, willing to help... we cannot say enough about how much they contributed to our experience.

Two of the three nights we stayed at the hotel they could not offer breakfast because of the Jewish Holiday. That was explained in advance, which we appreciated, but it was nevertheless inconvenient. Almost none of the window shades could be tilted open and closed. The cords seemed to be either frozen or stuck. The air conditioners were way up on the walls and had no remote controls, so they could only be turned on or off at a light switch on the wall. We ended up not turning on the one in the bedroom(s) because it was set on high and blasted very cold air over the beds. Fortunately the one in the living/dining area was equally strong and kept the bedroom(s) cold enough to sleep. The filters for the air conditioners were badly in need of cleaning or replacing. The rooms/suites had two rooms. The living/dining room seemed to have been furnished only partially, and the TV was high on the wall and too small to really enjoy viewing. We thought perhaps at one time the property was an aparthotel and this accounted for the half-furnished part of that space. Lack of parking was problematic, but since we could walk to the hospital we managed.
