"Lovely hotel with a great rooftop pool area"

The location and the rooftop pool area are great.

There was very noisy construction right by our front facing large room with a king size bed. We were offered to move to a smaller room (queen bed) in the back which we had to as the noise was unbearable. We were not given a reduction in price.

"Coffee on the terrace every morning and drinks there most late afternoons."

the roof top terrace with the shallow infinity pool, lounge chairs, tables, hammocks, restrooms, fridge, and so forth is amazing. Our room had AC (not all do) and so was quite (lots of roosters and dogs nearby). Short walk down cobblestone street to South beach. Several good restaurants/bars very close by. Extremely clean. 10-15 minute walk to town.

The walk from town up the short but steep hill and driveway is brutal if it is warm out. Take a cab from downtown. There is no elevator so getting to/from the terrace involves stairs. Our room did not have a TV though it was wired for one. If you have mobility issues this place is not for you.

The location was great - a big hill to walk up but worth it!. It was a bit removed from the hub-ub of town which was great. But it's in a lovely neighbourhood with lots of restaurants. The terrace was fantastic - big enough for everyone; lots of different kinds of seating; wonderful pool. The hammocks were fabulous.

The only issue was the mattress - a bit on the hard side!

The pool is next level - absolutely stunning. Quite cold but very refreshing. The power went out and they had crews on site immediately to try and restore it (they did). It’s a bit more removed from the centre which was perfect for us - quieter, closer to the North Side restaurants and only a 10-12 minute walk to the bustle of the plaza.

No real interaction with staff throughout our stay but we didn’t mind that and they ensured we were set up via WhatsApp prior to our arrival and were responsive during our stay.
