Der See und die idyllische Lage sind sehr schön.

Bischen enge Strassen zum hochfahren. Kreuzen ist schwierig.

Die Lage auf einer Anhöhe mit Rundumblick auf die Berge und direkt an einem kleinen See ist einfach einmalig.

Dass der Parkplatz mit einer Kette abgesperrt ist und es auch kein Schild gab, war etwas verwirrend.

"Great little hotel on the mountainside"

Hotel Zum See was a port in a storm. When the road and train to Zermatt were shut down due t s landslide. A bit of a drive up the mountain in the dark, and a late arrival, but welcomed by warm and friendly staff. The breakfast the next morning was excellent typically breakfast.

Nice staff. Friendly and professional. Wonderful breakfast!

We paid to have air conditioning and the hotel does not have ‘air conditioning’ in the sense a person from the USA is used too. The temperature is regulated by the hotel which is not what I was expecting. Very disappointed. When the issue was addressed with staff they apologized and gave us a fan.
