Restaurant décoré avec beaucoup de charme, beau jardin. Petit bungalow qui ce succèdent très jolies, tout est très propre. On se sent automatiquement bien dans ces espaces. Le personnel est très gentil, on a pu profiter et récupérer notre chambre plus tôt; et on pouvait même rester plus longtemps, une chance :) On dispose tous d’un accès privé avec un coin avec transats et table ce qui est vraiment très appréciable. La chambre est très belle, grande, confortable. La piscine dispose d’une belle vue sur le lac, l’espace salle de sport est également très appréciable :) L’établissement est en plus bien placé entre tangalle et Hiri parfait pour les visites. Je recommande !!!

Attention aux carreaux de la piscine, les joints ne sont pas très bien fait, notamment dans le petit bassin, ou je me suis coupé le genou.. Nous avons pu faire laver notre linge, mais il nous a été rendu encore un peu humide et limite encore un peu odorant.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms. The staff are incredibly helpful and made us feel at home right away. Our accommodation was clean, neat, and had a modern touch. The air conditioning was a great plus (although it took a little figuring out with the remote). The highlight for us was definitely the swimming pool — the best we had during our 21-day trip in Sri Lanka! The constant breeze from the lake made it extra enjoyable. Another big bonus is the on-site gym and the lovely dogs that belong to the owner. They are well cared for, vaccinated, and so sweet to cuddle with. Overall, our stay was truly fantastic thanks to the friendly staff and the caring owner. If we ever return to Sri Lanka and are nearby, we would definitely stay at Simply Peace again. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Place. Wonderful People. Delicious vegetarian food.

Die Anlage ist wunderschön und idyllisch – alles sehr gepflegt und von der Größe her wirklich perfekt. Das Outdoor-Fitnessstudio ist super ausgestattet, und die gebuchten Massagen waren fantastisch. Der Pool am See ist traumhaft, sehr entspannend, und der Sonnenuntergang dort ist einfach wunderschön. Die Zimmer sind toll und modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und geräumig, mit einer tollen Terrasse direkt am Bungalow. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend – wir haben uns sehr willkommen und rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist ebenfalls super: Mit Roller oder Tuk-Tuk ist man in 10 Minuten am Silent Beach oder in 15 Minuten in Hiriketiya. Man hat alles, was man braucht – perfekt auch für ein paar Tage länger.

Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Das Wasser in der Dusche war nicht richtig warm. Trotzdem fanden wir unseren Aufenthalt wirklich toll und würden definitiv wiederkommen.

Deze plek laat niks aan de verbeelding over en doet zijn naam eer aan. Fijne uitvalsbasis om de stranden te ontdekken in de omgeving en het personeel regelt de tuktuks (wegbrengen en ophalen) door een simpel whatsappje te sturen naar de manager. Ontbijt is op verzoek en het is heerlijk! De bungalow is perfect gesitueerd voor de zonsondergang en gericht op het zwembad, die overigens heerlijk is! Echt een heerlijk verblijf om tot rust te komen.

One of the best places we have stayed at in Sri Lanka! Such a peaceful place where the personnel do everything they can to make your stay as optimal as possible. Great pool, massage options and actually a very great outside gym. Usually a gym in a hotel always disappoints but here they have everything available for a good workout. Also breakfast, lunch and dinner options are very good! We have tried multiple dishes and they were all super. A special thanks to Suresh for the overall experience and for personally driving all the way to Arugam Bay to pick us up at 08:30.
