La Placita Inn

Great location in West Bay 2 minutes walk to the amazing beach; provided beach chairs; free breakfast; the rooms were a sufficient size; had a TV, good wifi, and good AC; staff were nice

An 11am checkout is a bit early (should change to noon); one of the nice front desk staff (thank you) did grant me an extension to noon, but then from 11 to noon, on three different occasions staff tried to come in (even though i had the do not disturb sign on the door). That is unacceptable. On one occasion, one of the staff even argued with me that I'm supposed to be out (even though I told her I received approval to noon). Recommendation: better communication between staff

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. location was walking distance to beach and pool, and the free breakfast was delicious.

if you stay on the side where your closer to the restaurants, you may hear noise of ppl outside till late other than that no complaints

Well they charged me again when I arrived and I am not sure how to resolve that. Everything else was amazing and I paid for shuttle as well with a different credit card.

Our 5am taxi was not booked as requested. Average service.

Big room with big sized bed and big bathroom. Very comfortable. All the necessary amenities to have a great stay. The breakfast was good, nice options and good taste. They offer shuttle to the airport that is cheaper than local taxis so that is a plus (taxis are way too expensive on the island and they are all looking forward to ripping you off).

One day they didn't have beach towels so they were not going to give us anything. They didn't have any intention on solving the issue, just wanted us to wait indefinitely. After insisting a lot, they gave us normal white towels. You can use the beach chairs from a nearby hotel because la Placita doesn't have direct access to the beach, however you cannot use the umbrellas, which sucks because the sun can be quite aggressive.
